Lentells

We switched accountants from Lentells in Chard Somerset due to their fees. The handover of our accounts to our new accountants was very poor, and as a result, I would not recommend Lentells. Before changing accountants, we offered Lentells the opportunity to review their fees as we had found another accountant to be significantly cheaper, thousands of pounds less so, but unfortunately, Lentells were unable to come close to that price. The outstanding balance you're citing as the reason for a limited transfer is a direct result of our monthly payments not fully covering our annual costs. This is understandable given your fees, and therefore, I was quite disappointed to find such a significant balance at the end of the year, especially since the plan was designed to minimise this to a much lower amount than what we ended up owing. We agreed that the repayment plan would continue for the next few months to settle the outstanding balance. However, you still feel the need to not provide a smooth handover, which I am very disappointed with. As a result, I will not recommend your services, which is a shame as we have been a client of yours for several years.
